Washington & Jefferson College is seeking applications for the position of head men’s basketball coach. The position is responsible for providing the leadership, organization and management of a competitive NCAA Division III basketball program. Duties include recruiting and supervision of student-athletes, coordinating practices, coordinating and facilitating fundraising activities, supervision of an intern coach, and overseeing necessary operations for the men’s basketball program, including travel and budget. In addition, the position may include teaching in the Physical Education Department if qualified, or an additional second administrative assignment.
Three years of prior experience as a collegiate head or assistant coach is preferred. Bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred) required. Candidate must have a working knowledge of NCAA Division III, Presidents’ Athletic Conference, and institutional rules and regulations. A strong commitment to the NCAA Division III student-athlete identity must be demonstrated. Washington & Jefferson College is a member of the Presidents’ Athletic Conference and the Eastern College Athletic Conference.
