Arkansas Tech University seeks a dynamic, proven leader with the experience and skills necessary to serve as head coach of its NCAA Division II men’s basketball program. The successful candidate will inherit a program that has accumulated 1,348 all-time wins and 21 regular season conference championships during its first 97 men’s basketball seasons. The Wonder Boys have reached national tournament postseason play on 20 occasions, including eight NCAA Tournament appearances during a nine-year span from 2009-2017.

This position is responsible for directing all aspects of the men’s basketball program, including staff supervision, recruitment and development of student-athletes, budget development and management, and engaging with members of the university community and citizens of the Arkansas River Valley. He or she will also be responsible for assuring compliance with policies and procedures set forth by Arkansas Tech University, the Great American Conference and the NCAA.

The successful candidate will contribute to the ATU Department of Athletics’ nationally recognized culture of community service, oversee the operation of summer camps and cultivate relationships with alumni/community members for the benefit of ATU, the Department of Athletics and the men’s basketball program.
