Brescia University in Owensboro KY is searching for Head Men’s Basketball Coach
Qualifications are:
• Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s in Sports/Recreation or Student Personnel Administration, Physical Education or another related program preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a basketball coach at the collegiate level required; more than 1 year of collegiate basketball coaching experience preferred
• Must have valid driver’s license and insurable by Brescia insurance.
• Effective communication skills
• Knowledge of fund-raising and budgeting practices

Responsibilities are, but not limited to:

•Responsible for the administration and oversight of the men’s varsity and JV teams including:
-Recruiting within the guidelines established by NAIA and Brescia, scouting, game and practice preparation, public relations/fundraising activities and budget operations
•Coordinate and supervise practices, monitor strength and conditioning workouts
•Arrange all team travel plans and transportation; will travel with team including overnight stays
•Maintain an inventory of team supplies and equipment
•Monitor and advise players on academic progress
