Provides supervision and coaching in intercollegiate competition as the Head Coach of the Men’s Basketball Team. Recruits student athletes, directs practices, manages practice and travel schedules, and supervises team conduct during competition, travel, tournaments, and other events where the basketball team is represented. Fosters a positive team atmosphere and supports student athletes’ academic progress, retention, and graduation through mentoring activities and guidance to appropriate support services. Drives college vehicles transporting the team to and from competitions. Instructs select courses as assigned. (Instructional assignments no more than 45% of position responsibilities.)
