The Head Men’s Basketball Coach must possess knowledge of the sport of basketball, expertise in skills related to basketball, confidence in developing and implementing competition strategies and experience in recruiting student-athletes whose attitudes and behaviors fit with the mission of the university.The Head Men’s Basketball Coach hires and supervises assistant coaches capable of supporting the mission of the position.

The Head Coach is responsible for developing a program of sustained excellence, which emphasizes not only competitive success, but also academic achievement and servant leadership, consistent with the mission of the University.
