Delaware State University is seeking a dynamic candidate for its Head Men’s Basketball Coach. In the performance of their duties, the Head Coach shall be directly responsible to and under the supervision of the Athletics Director. The Head Coach shall conduct themselves at all times in a manner consistent with their position as an instructor of students. The Head Coach shall not breach or countenance the breach by any player or coach of any of the policies, rules and regulations of the University, rules and regulations of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference, and rules and regulations of the NCAA Division I intercollegiate basketball program (as may be amended from time to time) during the term of employment at Delaware State University. The Coach shall assure the fair and responsible treatment of student athletes in relation to their health, welfare and discipline.

The Head Basketball Coach administers all facets of the DSU basketball program and its members: recruiting, training, conditioning, game performance, academic success, fiscal program management, campus and community conduct of the student athletes. Further, the Head Coach is expected to be a campus leader and outstanding University representative.
