| Description: | Dordt College is currently seeking an individual to assume the position of Men’s Head Basketball Coach for the 2018-2019 season. 50% of this person’s time will involve duties associated with coaching, recruiting, summer camps and other administrative duties associated with the men’s basketball program. The rest of this person’s time will involve other activities, which could include teaching or administrative duties, depending on the background and skills of the candidate. Applicants for this position must possess a Bachelor of Arts degree, Masters preferred, and three or more years of coaching experience. Strong knowledge of the game of basketball and successful coaching and recruiting experience at the high school or college level are essential. Strong organizational and coordination skills are desired, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills to lead a team and establish strong relationships on campus, in the community, and with parents and friends of the college.
