Fairfield University is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Head Coach, Men’s Basketball.

RESPONSIBILITIES: The Head Coach is responsible for directing all phases of an aspirational Division I men’s basketball program within the NCAA and Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC). Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to; identifying and recruiting athletically and academically qualified student-athletes, practice planning and game preparation, contest scheduling, staff management and development, external engagement and fundraising, and oversight of all the administrative aspects of the Men’s Basketball program.

QUALIFICATIONS: A Bachelor’s degree is required.  A Master’s degree is preferred.  Previous head coaching experience at the collegiate level is preferred. Candidates must demonstrate effective organizational, management, supervisory, recruitment and interpersonal skills.  The successful candidate will be a person of unquestioned integrity and high ethical standards consistent with the University’s Mission and exhibit a strict adherence to NCAA, MAAC, University and departmental rules and regulations.
