Keene State College’s Athletic Department invites applications for a NCAA Division III Head Men’s Basketball Coach to organize, develop and administer all aspects of a NCAA basketball program. The successful candidate must have a strong commitment to the academic success and student welfare. This is an 11-month benefit position with appointment dates July to June.

Duties will include but not limited to: hiring and supervising coaching staff, recruitment and retention of student athletes, coordinate and conduct all practice and game preparation, budget preparation, scheduling, travel arrangements, requisitioning equipment, fund raising, promoting the program both on and off campus, public speaking, scheduling of facility use with other intercollegiate teams, training and conditioning program for student/athletes, travel extensively with team, the ability to effectively evaluate athletic talent through on site/home visits and video, effectively evaluate academic talent to help insure academic collegiate success, monitor academic progress of matriculated student/athletes, complying with all NCAA Division III and Little East Conference rules and regulations, Keene State College policies and procedures and a commitment to service to the department and the campus community.
