Description: King University is accepting applications for the position of Head Men’s Basketball Coach. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the Men’s Basketball program, including operation of the developmental team and oversight of assistant coaches.

Minimum Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree is required. 5 years as an assistant at the collegiate level, or similar experience. Candidates should possess a thorough knowledge of basketball, a sophisticated understanding of coaching and training strategies, and a demonstrated ability to enhance student athlete development.

Preferred Qualifications: Master’s Degree. Experience as a head coach at the college level. Demonstrated ability and success in identifying and recruiting student athletes at a Christian, private, residential institution.

Responsibilities: Supervise all activities related to the student athletes; provide professional mentoring to student-athletes; establish the team’s competition and practice schedules; Recruit student/athletes that meet King University Admission guidelines to achieve roster goals and field a competitive team; Provide academic, personal, and professional mentoring to student-athletes; Comply with all NCAA and Conference Carolinas rules and regulations.
