Description:

Lincoln Land Community College is currently accepting applications for a part-time Head Coach for Men’s Basketball to be responsible for the development of student athletes and leadership of the team.

Coaches will be responsible for the following:

  • Development of team practice and competition schedules
  • Schedule opponents and officials for games
  • Coordinate team travel
  • Oversight of team practice and play dates
  • Assure compliance with NJCAA and LLCC procedures and policies
  • Recruitment of players
  • Work to promote unity in the coaching staff as well as the athletic department
  • Monitor academic progress of student athletes
  • Management of the teams budget
Requirements include the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree or associate’s degree with 2 years of relevant experience
  • Valid driver’s license to drive to games when necessary
  • Coaching experience in the sport
  • Familiar with the administration of athletics
  • Ability to work with students of diverse backgrounds
  • Possess a developed philosophy of the role of intercollegiate athletics

Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screen.
