Description: | The Head Coach, Men’s Basketball is responsible for leading all phases of the program in accordance with National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I, Big West Conference, and University rules, regulations, and policies. Key Responsibilities
Knowledge Skills and Abilities Thorough knowledge of and commitment to the integrity and enforcement of NCAA regulations, demonstrated coaching and recruiting success at the collegiate level. Ability to seek and develop relationships conducive to fostering a working and learning environment where every student, employee, and community member is treated with dignity and respect. Proficiency in developing and delivering multi-mode communications tailored to the unique needs of diverse audiences, coupled with the ability to collaborate positively to drive organizational goals effectively. Demonstrated capacity to consistently achieve results, even under challenging circumstances, and thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments. Aptitude for making sense of complex, high-quality, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems, along with demonstrated analytical, decision-making, prioritization, and problem-solving skills. Collegiate coaching or equivalent experience in Men’s or Women’s Basketball. Demonstrated commitment to working successfully with a diverse population. |
