Essential Responsibilities:

• The successful candidate will responsible to organize, supervise, coordinate practices and events
• Be personally on-site at all athletic practices and events
• Recruit ample numbers of quality Student-Athletes and retain them
• Monitor academic progress of Student-Athletes to insure retention of athletes
• Delegate authority, provide guidance and assume responsibility for assistant coach(s)
• Manage sport budget
• Be an active and productive fundraiser with a long range program plan
• Provide leadership within the sports program in accordance with department and college policy
• Schedule non-conference contests
• Knowledge of NJCAA rules and regulations

Qualifications:

High School or coaching experience, excellent communication, ability to be a team player, work effectively with faculty, staff and student body. The successful candidate will need to have a somewhat flexible schedule, as well as a clean driving record.
