Description: | The Head Men’s Basketball Coach is responsible for leading a program that has enjoyed a rich tradition in the RMAC and NCAA Division II- which includes National Championships in 2000 & 2002. The coach will direct all phases of the Men’s Basketball program by establishing and maintaining a high standard of excellence, which includes recruiting academically qualified student-athletes, scheduling, scouting, conditioning, supervising the assistant coaching staff, managing the program budget, generating revenue, and other duties assigned. In addition, the Head Coach is responsible for ensuring that all duties are executed in compliance with NCAA, RMAC and institutional regulations. Manage all aspects of a NCAA Division II Men’s Basketball Program. Additional responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: coaching, monitoring and developing recruiting programs; supervising activities of assistant coaches and volunteers; maintaining academic integrity of program; budget development and monitoring, assisting with fundraising; participating in public relations activities; operating the program within NCAA, university and conference guidelines; assisting with scheduling of non-conference games; and demonstrating a commitment to the department’s mission and core values.
