• Leadership, operation and management of MSUM Men’s basketball program in accordance with University, Conference and NCAA rules, regulations and policies.

• Budget development and management including, athletic scholarships, recruiting and team allocations.

• Duties include but not limited to scheduling, recruiting, practice planning/organizing, budgeting supervising assistants, public relations, departmental fundraising and camps.

• Teaching courses in the Health and Physical Education department.

• Other administrative duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive coaching at the collegiate or professional level

• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and support student-athletes athletically, academically and socially

• Demonstrated ability to teach physical education skills course and theory courses

• Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills

• Demonstrated success working with students of diverse backgrounds including sensitivity to their needs and concerns
