DUTIES:
10%:
Recruit competitive student-athletes following NCAA, Southland Conference and University rules
10%:
Schedule contests and arrange travel plans
10%:
Demonstrate a commitment to Nicholls State University, its policies and regulations
10%:
Promote Nicholls State University, its athletic program, and the men’s basketball program through outreach with the public, the staff and faculty, the press, alumni, spectators, and potential spectators
10%:
Ensure that student-athletes in the men’s basketball program understand and follow rules and regulations of Nicholls State University and the Athletic Department and that student-athletes conduct themselves in a manner that brings credit to themselves, the Athletic Department, and Nicholls State University
15%:
Prepare and manage the men’s basketball budget and generate revenue for the athletic program
25%:
Prepare, develop and administer all phases of the men’s basketball program in accordance with NCAA, Southland Conference and University rules
5%:
Report problems/issues to the Athletic Director expeditiously
5%:
Perform other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director
