The Athletics department is seeking a qualified part-time instructor to serve as the Head Coach for the men’s basketball team. Under the direction of the Director of Athletics, the coaching assignment includes: supervision of athletes, assistant coaches, and equipment personnel; working with training staff; organization of practice and game schedules; development and implementation of the budget; involvement in public relations efforts; recruitment and retention of student athletes; overseeing academic issues (with Director of Athletics and Academic Advisor); and other related activities as assigned. The position carries the highest level of responsibility for/to the program and is responsible for the entire sports program in-season/off-season. The selected candidate must be willing and able to transport team to and from remote competition sites using a District provided vehicle.
