Penn State Fayette is seeking a qualified highly motivated person to join our athletic program as Head Men’s Basketball Coach. The successful candidate must have knowledge of both the required technical and tactical skills and the ability to communicate well with team players. Responsibilities include managing all aspects of a competitive team including recruiting; planning; organizing and conducting team practices; traveling and supervising the team at away contests and coordinating home events. The candidate must demonstrate a commitment to the academic and athletic success of the student-athlete and to the highest of ethical standards. The coach will be responsible for understanding and maintaining strict adherence to PSUAC and USCAA rules and regulations. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required. Successful coaching experience at the collegiate or high school level is preferred. This position requires the operation of a motor vehicle; consequently, a valid driver`s license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.
