Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
• Candidates with a degree in sports management, physical education, athletic coaching, or recreation will be shown preference.
• One year of collegiate playing and/or coaching experience
• Ability to demonstrate skills on field for practice
• Ability to communicate well, both orally and in writing
• Thorough knowledge of the following computer programs: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to complete tasks that have set deadlines
• Strong ability to attract, recruit, and develop student-athletes
• Understanding of how to develop a competitive sports program
• Ability to work well in a team environment
