Saginaw Valley State University, a member of NCAA Division II and Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, invites applications for the position of Head Men’s Basketball Coach to develop, promote and supervise all facets of the Men’s Basketball team; develop and execute strategies for the recruitment of student-athletes for a highly visible regionally and nationally competitive team; organize and direct all aspects of the Men’s Basketball program, organizing practice sessions to enhance the team’s performance; supervise staff involved in the program and oversee budget. The Head Men’s Basketball Coach is expected to provide a “Championship Experience” in the classroom, in competition and in our campus and local communities. The position is a full-time, 12-month benefitted appointment.
