The University of Montana Western, an NAIA four-year public institution in Dillon, Montana, invites applications for the position of Head Men’s Basketball Coach. Additional duties are a requirement of this position and will be determined based upon the skills of the candidate. This is a full-time (10 month) position with excellent benefits.

Reporting to the Director of Athletics, the successful candidate will direct and manage the successful development of student-athletes both in the classroom and on the court. Additionally, candidates will provide leadership and instruction in the personal development of student athletes in a manner which reflects UMW’s commitment to competitiveness and ethical behavior. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining all aspects of a prominent and successful Division I NAIA men’s basketball program. Duties include, but are not limited to; developing and meeting fundraising goals that support the men’s basketball budget, establish and execute a plan for competitive game strategies, schedule games, recruit student athletes, supervise team members during off-campus trips, arrange transportation and lodging, and manage the programs operating budget.
