Job Duties:
* Organize, supervise, coordinate, and evaluate practice sessions with proper attention to player’s physical and mental well-being.
* Recruit ample numbers of quality student-athletes and retain them.
* Delegate authority and provide guidance to assistant coaches.
* Prepare athletes to demonstrate university-level performance during competitive events.
* Promote athletics at the University of Wisconsin-Stout.
* Research and implement new findings for refining skills and coaching techniques.
* Be personally on-site at athletic practices and events.
* Adhere to, and remain in compliance with NCAA, WIAC, and UW-Stout rules and regulations.
* Be an active and productive fundraiser in accordance with a long-range program plan.
* Develop relationships with alumni, boosters, etc.
* Provide leadership within sports program in accordance with department, division, and university policy.
* Maintain positive community relationships.
* Maintain rapport with high school athletic programs.
* Schedule non-conference contests
* This position is a mandated reporter under the Jeanne Clery Act as a Campus Security Authority (CSA).

Department:
The University of Wisconsin-Stout is a NCAA Division III institution with over 700 student athletes participating in a total of 24 varsity sports and committed to creating an inclusive campus community. UW-Stout is a core member the highly competitive Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC).
Compensation:
Competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience. The University of Wisconsin-Stout does not offer H-1B or other work authorization visa sponsorship for this position.
