Description:

The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford is a NCAA Division III institution and a founding member of the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC).  We are seeking a Head Men’s Basketball Coach who is a dynamic, student-centered leader who is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion and dedicated to support the whole student.

This is a full-time, 10-month position. The candidate’s primary focus will be that of recruitment, administration and coordination of a collegiate men’s basketball program that focuses on the total development of the student-athlete.

The successful candidate must demonstrate a proven aptitude for coaching as illustrated by a strong work ethic, organizational skills, computer skills, and the ability to interact professionally within the department, the campus, and the community.  Responsibilities include successful identification, evaluation and recruitment of academically qualified student-athletes; preparation of daily practices; on-court instruction; scouting; fundraising; and game-day preparations while adhering to Pitt-Bradford, AMCC and NCAA rules and regulations.

Master’s preferred. 3 years’ successful collegiate coaching experience and knowledge and commitment to NCAA Division III philosophy and rules.
