Open Gym Premier is looking for qualified interns to join our team. Open Gym Premier runs the top national tournaments and youth camp. Open Gym Premier also has over 40 youth teams and 20 high level high school teams (February-September). Open Gym Premier has Multiple Intern positions available.

The interns should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment, and will finish the internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of both the basketball and business world.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the recruitment of Southern California players for OGP High School Teams
• Be involved in the high school club team yearly planning meetings.
• Coach 1-2 OGP High School teams.
• Assist in the preparation and execution of all tournaments. (will be paid for time at tournament) 
• Interact with College, High School and AAU coaches
• Nightly facility management
• Assist in the logistical planning of camp
• Assist with day to day operations development
• Assist with execution of event marketing
• Overall brand and Individual event marketing
• Manage database
• Provide support to social media efforts

Requirements:

Open Gym Premier is looking for individuals interested in pursuing a future in basketball coaching and and/or entering the business field. Each candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with extensive knowledge of social media. Google Sheets, Docs and Slides experience is a bonus, and will be considered when choosing the best applicant for these internship positions. Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
