Hoop Group Skills is the Longest Running Basketball Camp in the Nation. For over 50 years, Skills camp has helped players of all levels improve, develop and become students of the game. Hoop Group Skills Camp strives to provide players with the ultimate camp experience.

Hoop Group is looking for hard working media personnel to take photos, videos and create content during Hoop Group’s annual basketball Skills Camp in Stroudsburg, PA. You will be contracted to provide service from June 14th – August 29th.

Candidates should be able to provide a digital portfolio to demonstrate their knowledge of photography, videography, social media content, and writing. This would be a freelance position.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team to ensure proper set-up for events
• Manage a schedule to get the required photos/videos
• Create and edit video and photo content to share on social media platforms
• Post photos for campers to view and purchase
• Creating weekly recaps to share with parents and Hoop Group’s website
• Promote upcoming camps sessions and events
• Help generate interaction with new/existing followers on social media

Requirements

• Basic understanding of photography principles and practices
• Proficiency in writing
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be comfortable working long hours and be a self-starter
• High energy and ability to work and interact with kids
  

Job Details

• $3,000 paid stipend
• All per approved work-related expenses will be covered
• Room and board provided
• Hoop Group gear package provided
• Hoop Group photos and created content can be used in job portfolios
