The University of Pittsburgh is seeking an Assistant Director of Operations to the Men’s Basketball Program. 

    The individual will work directly for the Head Men’s Basketball Coach and other staff and coaches in managing responsibilities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  – Working with the various units that support the men’s basketball program to ensure the efficiency of the overall program 

 – Maintaining an understanding of all units that support the men’s basketball program 

 – Daily schedule planning and coordinating the Head Men’s Basketball Coach’s role with the various units 

   Exceptional problem solving and communication skills are required as well as excellent judgment as the Head Men’s Basketball Coach will rely on this position to make decisions on his behalf. The Assistant Director of Men’s Basketball Operations will report jointly to the Head Men’s Basketball Coach and the Director of Men’s Basketball Operations.

 

1-2 years’ experience in college or professional basketball operations or administration
