Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

1. Proactively recruit student athletes who are a strong, mission- fit for UVF and our program spiritually, academically, and athletically in NCAA Division 3
2. Serve as the head coach for the JV program that will start in the 2019-2020 season
3. Game day transportation and meals.
4. Skill development during the season.
5. Assist with practice and game preparation
6. Academic monitoring of student-athletes.
7. Serve as a member of the athletic department’s staff in a role assigned by the Athletic Director.
8. Other duties as assigned by the Head Coach and Athletic Director

Spiritual Requirements

1. Able to effectively communicate personal faith and apply biblical principles and convictions in the workplace. Must have a strong sense of calling to the ministry of the University of Valley Forge.
2. Regularly attend and be engaged in meaningful involvement in a Bible-believing evangelical local church. Knowledgeable about the Word of God and passionate about Christian higher education.

Requirements are a bachelor’s degree, previous playing or coaching experience, and recruiting experience. Preference will be given to applicants who have experience in Christian higher education. Applicant will also have a role in the athletic department, based off his or her skillset. Tuition remission, housing and stipend included.
