Under the daily supervision of the head coach, the Graduate Assistant Coach is also responsible for the recruitment, retention, and academic success of student athletes. The Graduate Assistant Coach is expected to affirm, model, and cultivate the Christ-centered mission of Montreat College and the Athletic Department. In addition to coaching, this position assists with control and oversight of budgets and scheduling of athletic games. The Graduate Assistant coach will be responsible to maintain compliance with and must have knowledge of the NAIA, AAC and college rules and regulations. Graduate Assistants must maintain academic standing during their graduate program and observe the maximum weekly work hour requirement.
