This entry level position will allow an individual to experience all duties performed in college men’s basketball coaching, while earning a Master’s Degree from Western Carolina University.

Primary duties include, but are not limited to:

1. Recruiting: Assist with the Recruiting Database ARMS input recruit information to keep profiles updated, create and collect questionnaires, assist with planning and coordination of on campus visits.
2. Team Operations: assist with team travel, meals, coordinate managers, class checking, and daily office responsibilities as assigned.
3. Video: assist with clips requested by staff, have a working knowledge of film set up, Synergy, and Hudl Sportscode.
4. Player Development: set up and assist with practice, individual workouts, and scout team.

Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• College Basketball playing experience or Student Manager experience
• General overall knowledge of College Men’s Basketball
• Microsoft Office

To be paid by Western Carolina:

• Tuition & fees up to $3,600 / semester
• Parking pass
• Block 80 meal plan
• Stipend $3,000 / semester

To be paid by Graduate Assistant:

• Additional tuition or fees over $3600 / semester
• Application fees if applicable
• Orientation fees if applicable
• Housing
