POSITION DESCRIPTION

York College, in York, Nebraska is seeking applicants for the position of Graduate Assistant Mens Basketball to begin for the 2017-2018 academic year.  York College athletics competes in the NAIA and is a member of Kansas Collegiate Athletics Conference (KCAC).

QUALIFICATIONS

Candidate must possess Bachelor’s degree and have a firm commitment to strong, liberal arts, Christian education.  The candidate will answer directly to the Head Men’s Basketball Coach under the direction of the Vice President for Enrollment and Athletics.

REQUIREMENTS

Candidates will assist the varsity program with in-game coaching, practice planning, scouting, recruiting, office work and all other phases of the men’s basketball program.  Candidate will serve as the head JV coach and will assist with jv recruiting. Candidates must also obtain CDL license and a willingness to drive for the team.
