OB DESCRIPTION:

This position will be responsible for assisting with all aspects of a Division I Men’s Basketball program as a Graduate Manager. Primary responsibility is to support the head men’s basketball coach, assistant men’s basketball coaches, programs assistants and support staff in all facets of day to day program operations. Candidates should possess an enthusiasm for working with student-athletes, a strong basketball background, excellent oral and written communication skills, a relentless work-ethic, and a commitment to following Sun Belt and NCAA rules.

PAY: This is an unpaid position with no benefits provided.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• In order to be eligible for this position individuals MUST be accepted into the College of Graduate Studies and working towards a master’s degree at Georgia Southern University.
• The candidate should be passionate, highly motivated and organized.
• Proficiency with technology and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Looking for a task-oriented individual who has the ability and desire to work in a fast paced and flexible work environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite to include Adobe Photoshop
• Experience with Hudl Sportscode
• Experience with Synergy
• Experience running budget spreadsheets
• Experience organizing travel arrangment
