Description:

Position serves as the video coordinator for the men’s basketball program. This position requires you to be in constant contact with players and coaching staff in order to help the team achieve at the highest level possible. In addition, will serve as an integral cog when it comes to running spring, summer, and fall kids basketball camps.

Essential Duties, Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • Video record all practices and games.
  • Breakdown video for scouting purposes.
  • Breakdown game film for teaching purposes for our student athletes.
  • Coordinate video transfers with opposing schools.
  • Assist coaching staff with competition preparation on game days.
  • Create and develop videos for recruiting purposes.
  • Assist coaching staff with competition preparation on game days.
  • Assist the coaching staff with the operation of kids basketball camps.
  • Assist operations with miscellaneous assigned duties on road trips.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications & Salary:

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree required in Visual Communication Technology, Graphic Design, Sport Management, Communications or a related field. Successful candidate must have Bachelor’s degree conferred at the time of application.

The following experience is required:

  • 6-12 months of experience in a college basketball or professional basketball setting. Involvement in the filming, editing, and/or scouting of basketball games and practices utilizing a professional video platform (ie. DVSPort, XOS, Synergy, Sportscode, etc). 1 year of graduate assistantship experience will be accepted.

Salary

Part-time, Administrative staff position available. Administrative Grade Level 350. Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
