Responsibilities and Duties

This volunteer position will manage all video-related activities for the Central Michigan Men’s Basketball program. Lead the filming of all practice, shootaround, and individual workouts for self-scouting purposes.  Coordinate the taping of games via television, internet and other social media outlets. Plan all film exchange with opponents. Download games via Synergy Sports and load onto coaching staff computers. Prepare video edits of individual players & opponents for the coaching staff to review with student-athletes during team meetings. Prepare video edits of potential recruits for the coaching staff to review. Maintain an organized library system for filing all practice, workouts, games, and opponent scouting folders. Responsible for the maintenance and ordering of essential video equipment.  Other duties as assigned by the Head Coach and/or Assistant Coaching staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• One year of experience in a collegiate sport specific program preferred
• Demonstrated proficiency with video editing software, especially SportsCode & Hudl software
• Effective communication, both written and oral
• Ability to work with diverse groups of student-athletes, coaches & staff
• Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently
• Exceptionally strong organizational skills
• Highly proficient with current technology and trends
• Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations
