Perseverance Basketball  is a professional youth basketball organization specializing in Leagues, Camps, training, tournaments and Clinics in South Florida. We are the leading basketball program in South Florida. Perseverance operates basketball in Boynton Beach, West Palm Beach, Palm Beach Island, Wellington, Palm Beach Gardens, Hope Sound & Jupiter. Our main 10,000 square foot facility is located in Jupiter, FL.

Perseverance is looking for women AND men of high character and deep basketball passion to join our network of community basketball LEADERS.

This position includes opportunities for personal and professional development as well as the potential for career advancement.

Director of Youth Programs:

• Stationed in our main facility but overseeing smaller locations

• Staffing of all Perseverance locations & programming

• Set-up for tournaments, leagues and events

• Future Planning & scheduling for each location

• Organizing & ordering of Perseverance gear & apparel for programming

• Reliable, organized, and communicative.

• Genuinely care for children’s development.

• Communicate in a clear and timely manner with all stakeholders.

• Are constantly looking to improve and grow themselves

• Have a strong knowledge of basketball with a passion for teaching, coaching, and mentoring

• Must have the ability to train athletes of all ages

Responsibilities Include:

• Hire, manage and retain the highest quality of coaches

• Perform quality checks according to Perseverance guidelines

• Organize, arrange and communicate practice, workout and game schedules for all teams

• Communicate with coaches, managers, and parents

• Lead on-court events when necessary

• Practice punctuality for all scheduled meetings and calls

• Provide input and contribute to all meetings and calls

• Problem-solve with the help of Perseverance Support Staff

• Respectfully and clearly handle problems and issues as they arise

• Equipment Management

• Prepare facility for Events, Tournaments.\

• Scheduling of our Facility

Skills:

• Familiar with google workplace

• Skilled at Google sheets & google calendar

• Familiar with Canva design software

Software Training:

• Textedly communication system

• Mailchimp communication system

• Google Drive

Job Type:

• Full-Time

Supplemental Pay:

• Bonus pay TBD

Education:

• Bachelor’s (Preferred)

Experience:

• Basketball Playing: 4 years (Required)

• Basketball Coaching: 3 years (Required)

Work Location:

• Multiple locations within Palm Beach County

• Daily headquarters at our main facility in Jupiter, FL
