Position Summary:

Scouting and Analytics Specialist, Men’s Basketball, will direct and oversee all video and technology duties and responsibilities associated with the men’s basketball program in a manner designed to optimize the basketball development of student-athletes, the efficiency of the entire program, and the ability to recruit high-level prospective student-athletes. The incumbent will ensure that appropriate analytics are available to assist the coaches in evaluating the team and individual student-athletes and opponents, and assist the coaches in recruiting by compiling evaluation edits and assisting with the prospective student-athlete matrix.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Bachelor degree
• 3-5 years’ experience in an Intercollegiate Athletic Department with Division I experience as a student-athlete, GA, Intern, manager or staff member
• Experience in most aspects of game management and facilities
• Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, web content management and internet search software
• Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with a diverse group of internal and external constituents
• Excellent written communication skills and the ability to compose effective communications to broad audiences within and outside the university community
• Demonstrated high-level of organizational skills, problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Detail-oriented, organized and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Adherence to NCAA and member conference rules and regulations
