Event Overview
At Prep Hoops, our mission is to be a platform for visibility for all of those athletes – college-bound prospects at all levels. Our Top 250 Expo showcase series embody that mission and bring it to life, giving prospects at all levels an opportunity to showcase their skills in front of local college coaches as well as our team of evaluators.
Last year, over 3,000 prospects showcased their talents in front of over 250+ college programs, in addition to the 500+ college programs that consume our coverage and analysis at www.PrepHoops.com on a daily basis.
This event is for the class of 2020-2023 boys. Each event goes from 11:00AM – 4:00PM and will be lead by a Prep Hoops Event Director.
Job Summary
Each of our Top 250 Expo showcases are in need of qualified, experienced coaches to coach teams at the event. Coaches will be given the opportunity and freedom to lead and implement skills and strategies for multiple prospects.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Arrive at least 1 hour prior to the start of the event
- Coach in a fast-paced, fun environment that allows you to interact with players and teach them the nuances of the game
- Give prospects honest feedback on ways they can improve themselves
- Maintain a professional demeanor throughout each game
Qualifications and Skills
- Punctuality is a must
- Prior coaching experience is required, and college coaching experience is a plus
- Playing experience is preferred
Benefits and Perks
- Paid $100 per session, with compensation received at the end of the weekend
