Monmouth University is seeking applications for a part-time Special Assistant to the Men’s Basketball Head Coach.

The candidate would be expected to: handle programmatic areas such as academics and facilities, as well as campus partners such as admissions; alumni engagement, including but not limited to newsletters, golf outings, social functions and reunions; oversight of all student interns, managers and volunteers related to men’s basketball.

Required Degree, License or Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree, Valid Automobile Driver’s License in your state of principal residence, CPR and NCAA recruiting certification must be attained within six months from date of hire

Required Skills or Software:
Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills

Required Years of Experience: 2

Other Requirements:
Two years of coaching, playing or administrative experience in Division I collegiate basketball, or a combination thereof.

Preferred Qualifications:
Basketball coaching and/or playing experience. Technology skills related to basketball film analysis; social media experience.
