The Specialist, Men’s Basketball Player Development, is responsible for providing assistance to the coaching staff in areas of organization, planning, and communication as well as aspects of social media recruitment and student-athlete academics. The position mentors student-athletes in relation to leadership and life skills as well as participation in community service projects. The Specialist acts as a liaison between the men’s basketball program and athletics administration as well as with academics counseling. The position assists with game video breakdown by watching film with staff and players and video editing of game highlights for social media recruiting. The position assists with on-campus recruitment analysis and assists with logistics of recruit visits and management of the recruit database and board.
