Description:
DME Sports Academy in Daytona Beach, FL is accepting applications for Summer Internships
This position will work directly with Boys and Girls Summer Campers. This is an entry level position that will allow interns to grow, learn, and develop while being exposed to athletics at the highest level. Interns will be challenged to problem solve, mentor, demonstrate leadership, plan activities and have a flexible schedule. This opportunity will give Interns the coaching and operations experience necessary to work in the basketball industry.
Primary duties will include:
  • Dorm supervision
  • Filming/Video Breakdown
  • On court instruction
  • Individual skill development
  • Statistics
  • Assist head coaches with practices and games
  • Equipment Management
  • Transportation
  • Daily Basketball Operations
Preferred Qualifications
  • Former college basketball Player or Manager
  • Previous Coaching experience
  • Desire to work in College/High School athletics
  • Experience using Video Breakdown software such as Hudl
  • (CDL License)

Interns must have a personal vehicle and valid drivers license.
