What You’ll Do

We are currently seekeing a Team Sports Territory Specialist in either Dallas, TX or Houston, TX who will drive sales at the grassroots level and elevate focus on Basketball, Football, Volleyball and Soccer organizations. This position works closely with Wilson Territory Managers to develop new relationships with Academies and Clubs to turn these organizations into new accounts. Daily this person will be responsible for identifying leads, scheduling meetings, selling products and servicing any number of player, team or coaches questions. They need to have an elevated level of product knowledge and be passionate about sports – specific to basketball or football. This role is accountable for meeting targeted metrics.


  • Identify leads and build relationships with high potential travel organizations, clubs, teams and training facilities to develop new business
  • Create impactful sales and distribution growth within the territory through grassroots activations, uniform fittings and promotion activities
  • Build on the strength of Wilson core products such as the Evolution and GST to sell more Uniforms, Apparel and Bags
  • Attend local and regional tournaments to develop new relationships and leads
  • Maximize in-person contact and sales coverage with new accounts
  • Develop and maintain great working relationships with key personnel in each account and internally
  • Provide timely and impactful reports on activities through phone and written records
  • Increase brand presence and image with athletes and organizational decision makers
  • Provide monthly written audits on competitor activity and player/coach product feedback and preferences


What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Business, Marketing, or Sports Management.
  • Previous Basketball or Football playing experience and experience working in Sales and/or Customer Service is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to sell, influence and negotiate
  • Passion for basketball and football with experience in the sport
  • Strong oral and written communications
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Extensive travel required (mostly same day)
  • Must have reliable transportation; home office environment required
