Description:
  • At the University of Portland, a Video Coordinator for Men’s Basketball assists with many duties of supporting a Division 1 basketball team.
    Duties include mostly video operations but are not limited. Duties involve on court development, and supporting student athletes on and off the floor.
  • THIS IS A VOLUNTEER POSITION

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Set up and pack video equipment for practice and games.
  • Must be proficient with Sports code and synergy.
  • Live record and code games/practices.
  • Help assistants with preparing scouts, this ranges from play identification to preparing film for team.
  • Run and operate computer during team and staff meetings.
  • Track and monitor post/during game analytics.
  • Prepare individual recruit film.
  • Player Development and 1on1 workouts with our players.
  • Reports directly to HC and assistant coaches.
  • Maintains good relationship with alumnus, parents, officials, volunteers, and fans.
  • Performs other duties as requested by the Head Coach.
  • Weekend work, irregular hours, travel, and physical demands are required for this position.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a small college setting and the ability to balance all student-athlete needs.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Drive (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • High school and college playing experience preferred.
