Miami University men’s basketball announced Tuesday the hiring of Joe Maggiore as its director of video operations. He will coordinate all aspects of the team’s video.

“Joe is extremely familiar with Miami men’s basketball through his work with us as an undergraduate and then in an intern role last season. We are thrilled to have him continue his work with our team as the Director of Video Operations,” said head coach John Cooper. “Joe has displayed a great amount of dedication to our program over the years and will be a valuable asset to our team in this capacity.”

Maggiore spent the last year as an intern with the RedHawks, assisting with a variety of day-to-day operational duties. As an undergraduate, Maggiore spent three seasons as a student manager with the program and was an assistant equipment manager his final two years in school.

Maggiore graduated from Miami University in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in middle school education with a concentration on math and social studies.
