Two quick things that I’ve heard from the JUCO world…

• It sounds like veteran head coach Mike Ray has retired at NJCAA DI Lincoln Trail College (IL).  He has been the head coach at LTC since, 2012, and has also worked at Vincennes (IN), and Wabash Valley.  Ray led the Statesmen to a 19-12 (13-5) record this past season.  No word yet on a possible replacement.

• I can confirm that Great Bay CC (NH) has hired Sean Young as the new head basketball coach.  Young was most recently the head boy’s basketball coach at Epping (NH) HS.  He has also coached at two other high schools in the state.  He will replace Dave Sokolnicki who resigned last month.
