After being removed as the head men’s basketball coach at NJCAA D1 Central Arizona back in December, Tremaine Aaron has now returned to his former position.
Back on 12/19, CAC AD Shelby Davis confirmed to the Casa Grande Dispatch that Aaron is “no longer with CAC,” adding she is not permitted to comment on personnel issues. Assistant coach Jesse Brown was then promoted to interim head coach.
There has been no official announcement from the college, but I was tipped off by a great source that Aaron returned to the sidelines last week. Also, earlier today his bio re-appeared on the website – without any mention of his absence for the last two months.
According to the website, Brown is still with the program, and has returned to his original role as the assistant coach.
No further info on what exactly happened.
CAC is currently 5-17 (4-13) on the year, with 5 regular season games remaining.
