Cedric Drake has resigned as the head basketball coach at Meridian Community College. He will be replaced by former Jacksonville State head coach James Green. Drake, who had been at MCC for the past three seasons, has accepted a HS job. His replacement, Green, has spent the past 19 seasons as a DI head coach. In addition to his eight seasons at Jacksonville State, he has also been the head coach at Southern Mississippi (1996-2004) and Mississippi Valley State (2005-2008). Green was replaced at JSU by Ray Harper earlier in the spring.
