I have heard from multiple sources that Travis Garrett has been named as the new head men’s basketball coach at NJCAA D1 East Georgia State College. He replaces Leroy Jordan, who had been the head coach at EGSC since 2013.

Garrett, who had most recently been working for JUCO Advocate, spent 2015-20, as the head coach at South Georgia Tech. The veteran coach has also been the head coach at USC-Salkehatchie and Clinton Junior College, and served as an assistant at Northeastern, Bethune-Cookman, and Chipola College.

An official announcement is expected shortly.
