Western Nebraska CC head men’s basketball coach Cody Fehringer has resigned effective immediately. Multiple sources have told me that he will wind up on a D1 staff with that announcement coming mid-week. The most likely landing spot seems to be on a staff in the Big Sky.

Fehringer was 91-39 in his four seasons at WNCC. He has also been the head coach at Williston State College and Dakota College. He has been replaced on an interim basis at WNCC by assistant coach Billy Engel.
