I have heard from a great source that Coastal Bend College (TX) will promote assistant Marcus Thompson to the role of head coach. He will replace Carliss Robinson who became an assistant at Salem University at the end of June.

Thompson has been at Coastal Bend for one season. The Texas native and 2014 Our Lady of the Lake (TX) graduate, has also previously been a head coach at the high school level.

An official announcement is expected shortly.
