Appalachian State assistant coach Patrick Moynihan has taken over as the head coach at NJCAA D1 Spartanburg Methodist. He will replace Nori Johnson, who will be joining the staff at USC Upstate.
Moynihan has been at App State for the past four seasons, and spent two years before that as an assistant at Presbyterian. He has also worked as a GA at both Troy and North Alabama.
Johnson had been the head coach at SMC for the past six seasons where he put together a 103-61 record.
More on both of these moves once they are officially announced.
