I can confirm that Tim Ryan is no longer the head men’s basketball coach at NJCAA D1 Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. Ryan, who battled health issues most of last season, will be moving back to his native Florida to take a job outside of coaching.

Ryan took over at MGCCC back in 2020 after a great run at the College of Central Florida (before CF decided to discontinue athletics). Ryan led the Central Florida to the 2013 NJCAA D1 National Championship, and captured the Mid-Florida Conference Coach of the Year award nine times. He wraps up his career at the JUCO level with a 427-187 overall record.
